ENTER2015 Call for Industry and Destination Cases
In addition to the usual call for academic research papers, and considering the success achieved in the previous editions, ENTER2015 is having a call for projects primarily aimed at tourism industry and destinations representatives as well as technology and marketing practitioners from companies working in the travel and tourism sector who have valuable experience to report and present. Projects will be in the form of a presentation at one of the sessions in the ENTER2015 Industry/Destination Track.
Proposed cases may include but are not limited to the following topics:
Industry track
• Making sense of Big Data: Innovative metrics of social media impact on businesses ROI
• Smart and Innovative experiences of Travel Agents thriving in the current context
• Online Reputation Measurement from Social Media Strategies
• User Generated Content impact on purchasing behavior
• Innovative Mobile strategies and Location based services
• Cases of latest technology at the service of Customer Experience (wearables, gamification, NFT, etc)
Destination track
• Strengthening the collaboration between Stakeholders and DMO in order to improve the success of the Destination
• Innovation within the core of DMOs
• What should be the role of the future DMO – if any?
• Cases of Smart use of digital communication in CVB’s (convention bureaus)
• Success cases and reflections on the challenges of Mobile Apps at Destinations
• Social media marketing: smart cases from DMOs
• The present and future role of DMO’s websites?
• Strategic use of Big data by DMOs
• Destination Trends
Time Schedule
Submission closes: September 1, 2014
Final acceptance: October 31, 2014
Registration Deadline: November 16, 2014
